Yes! All Herman's Games are 100% free with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no subscriptions. Free forever.
Do you track my data?
No. We don't collect, store, or sell any personal data. Your progress is saved locally on your device (and optionally synced via iCloud on iOS). See our

Do the games work offline?
Most games work offline after the first load. Breed Buddies needs an initial download of dog photos, and Rainbow Groupies fetches daily puzzles, but otherwise everything runs on your device.
How do I sync progress between devices?
On iOS, your progress syncs automatically via iCloud (if you're signed in). On the web, progress is stored in your browser's local storage and doesn't sync between devices.

How does the AI opponent work?
The AI adapts to your playing patterns. It tracks your move history and tries to predict your next move. The best strategy? Mix it up and stay unpredictable!
How do I switch themes?
Tap the settings gear icon to choose from 4 themes: Brutalist, Emo, Y2K, and Brainrot. Each theme changes the entire look and feel of the game.

How many stories are there?
Story Remix includes 60 story templates across multiple categories. New stories are available daily!

How do daily puzzles work?
Three new puzzles are released every day. Find groups of 4 related words by tapping them. You get 4 mistakes before the game ends. Come back tomorrow for fresh puzzles!
Breed Buddies
How many breeds can I learn?
Breed Buddies features 120 dog breeds across 7 AKC groups, each with fun facts, temperament traits, and real photos.
How does "Spot a Dog" work?
Use your camera or photo library to identify dog breeds in real life. It uses Apple's on-device Vision ML technology — no photos are sent to any server.
